White Dove Release for Funerals & Celebrations of Life (SWFL)
A white dove release is a gentle, uplifting way to honor a loved one. As the doves rise into the sky and circle overhead, they symbolize peace, love, and the soul’s journey home. Our birds return to our Pine Island loft, creating a beautiful moment of closure and comfort for family and friends.
How it works
We coordinate with your funeral home, church, cemetery, or beach site to handle timing and setup. At the cue—often following a reading, prayer, or song—the doves are released from an elegant white basket (or, with guidance, by a family member). They circle above and wing their way home.
Meaningful release options
-
Spirit Dove — A single white dove symbolizing your loved one’s spirit.
-
Trinity Release (3 doves) — Often chosen for faith symbolism or to represent love, hope, and peace.
-
Flock of Angels (10–12 doves) — A moving tribute symbolizing angels or loved ones guiding the spirit home.
Personal touches can include readings, favorite music (“Amazing Grace,” etc.), ribbon accents, or a veteran’s salute.
